Took a little time off last week and went to Hua Hin.
Lots of beach walks early morning with Sarra, chasing seabirds and not catching a single one. But participating is just as fun. Seabirds chased: 34. Seabirds caught: 0. Boy was this fun.
A little sunshine, beach time, general reading and catching up on sleep has been fantastic.
Back to it now though. Trip to Pattaya this week to see Kovit at The Magic Factory, they’ll be in our showroom this year along with a few other companies. If you’re planning on being in LA for the preview, let me know, happy to set up a time to meet. China later this month, possibly Japan in August for the toy fair, before the long trip to LA for the preview.
Booth allocation for Nuremberg should come through shortly, hopefully the same spot in Hall 4 we love. Emails trying to sell me booth building for Nuremberg so far: two. Starting early this year…..
Rugby’s been good so far too. France narrowly defeated by New Zealand, then beating Australia comprehensively, although late. On to Japan this week, and you always have to be careful of the Japan rugby team. I still remember Brighton, 2015, Japan beating South Africa 34-32 on a last-minute try, their captain refusing to kick for the draw. Giant killers…
Just starting to get interested in football too, as France are in the semi final against Spain. Two of the favourite teams. I wish this had been the final and not the semi. England are also in the semis, against the historical enemy Argentina. Could football finally come home?
